With Mother’s Day coming up on Sunday, show your love by taking some time to make a very special handmade gift for your Mom.
One great gift you can give is an exfoliating sugar or salt scrub. It’s super easy!
Here’s my favorite salt scrub recipe:
1 cup of oil (such as almond oil, grape seed oil or coconut oil–your choice) 1 cup of coarse sea salt 1 cup of epsom salt 8-10 drops of essential fragrance oil 1 heaping tbsp of dried lavender buds or lemon zest (your choice-be creative!!)
Have fun! Mix together your Mom’s favorite fragrances to create a delicious, custom-made scent.
lavendar + vanilla
orange + ginger
coconut + peppermint
lemon + sage
amber + vanilla
Place your lovely creation into a pretty rustic jar and add a bow. She’ll love it!
